What methods are currently used to unload liquid chlorine tankers? Is hot water used to create pressure, or are pumps employed? Is there a safer method?
What project is this from? Indian or Lao or Turkmen?

Pressurized unloading is carried out using chlorine that has been liquefied and then vaporized.
We have been using the magnetic transfer pumps from Dalian Kehuan in our company for 10 years now, and they are extremely reliable.

There is discharge from the tanker, plus the dip pipe; the inlet pipeline of the pump is quite long. If the pressure in the receiving tank is much higher than that in the tanker, can the pump then draw out the liquid chlorine from the tanker? Previously, when using liquid chlorine tank trucks, vaporization and pressurization was the method used, but I haven’t had any contact with it for several years now.
Is it ironic that the methods are rather backward? If you know of better methods or those that you are currently using, you can share them with others – isn’t Haichuan a place for exchanging knowledge?
