Problems with the hydrating machines used in the production of heavy soda ash

This post was last edited by Qingtan Xiaolong on 2010-8-20 09:41. There are mainly two types of hydrators used for producing heavy-grade soda ash: paddle-type hydrators and drum-type hydrators. Could anyone provide some information regarding such equipment?
Reply to 1# wenterzhao: Plate-type hydrator (solid phase): A rotary drum-type device consisting of feed and discharge mechanisms, a large gear ring, rolling rings, support rollers for rotation, and a transmission system. The impeller-type crystallizer (liquid phase) is divided into upper and lower layers; a partition and a discharge port connect these two layers. The upper layer serves as the area where mixing and crystallization take place in the hydrator, and this crystallizer is equipped with a propeller-style stirring device, along with external cooling (temperature-controlled) jackets.
