I remember when I was at the factory, my supervisor (who was also a manager) once told me something like this: It’s not true that the more detailed the operating procedures are, the better. Some people can recite them by heart, but their actual skills don’t improve, and following those procedures mechanically can even lead to accidents. Think about the period of the Chinese revolution: there were many theoretical experts (such as Wang Ming) who caused setbacks for the Chinese revolution at that time. In my opinion, to master the use of sulfuric acid, one needs a solid theoretical foundation, as well as the ability to apply that knowledge flexibly in practice. It’s not true that the more books on sulfuric acid one reads, the better.
