Due to its limited operating window, HRS requires high levels of skill to operate, and some users were concerned that the use of HRS might affect the reliability of the acid production equipment. However, after several years of monitoring some factories that adopted the Mengmoke HRS system, a very interesting pattern was observed: some factories had low performance levels and a high failure rate before implementing the HRS system, but their operational efficiency increased significantly after its adoption. Why is this? Once, while chatting about this matter with a colleague from a factory that uses the Mengmoke HRS technology, he revealed a detail: before adopting the Mengmoke HRS system, the acid circulation system in one of the absorption towers often leaked due to high acid temperatures, and stopping the operation was required to deal with these leaks. After installing the HRS system on Mengmoke, and since the HRS system is designed to handle high-temperature concentrated sulfuric acid and thus boasts high reliability, the leakage problems associated with the original acid circulation system in the absorption tower no longer exist. Another reason is that many users have fiber mist eliminators in the absorber tower that contain a high amount of acid, which causes corrosion and leakage in the downstream pipes and heat exchangers. After being integrated with the Mengmok HRS system, it is equipped with the top-tier Brink ES type fiber mist remover used in the sulfuric acid industry; as a result, the amount of acid carried downstream is significantly reduced, which also contributes to an increase in the operational rate.
Now, Nanjing Hailu is the leader in HRS.
