It should still be designed according to the original hazard level classification for media, without the need to follow GB230-1010 or HG/T 20660-2017. For pressure pipelines, Note 1 of Announcement No. 3 of 2019 issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation specifies the hazard level of media according to the \"Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 edition)\"; sulfuric acid does not belong to the category of liquid media with acute toxicity of Class 1. Therefore, the pressure pipeline classification does not need to be upgraded. For pressure vessels, the classification levels of medium hazard severity under TSG 21-2016 and GB 150 are still based on HG/T 20660-2000; HG/T 20660-2017 has not yet been put into effect, so there is no need to upgrade their categories either.

For non-metallic external equipment and pipelines that fall outside the scope of application of the Supervision Regulations or the Licensing Rules, it is recommended to design them in accordance with the technical specifications for such non-metallic equipment or pipelines.
