Is there any equipment that can detect leaks?

Hello everyone. Due to production requirements, our acid production system insulates its equipment. However, over time, leaks may occur in these devices, and to locate such leaks it is necessary to remove the insulation material. Do any experts have any good methods or devices that allow one to detect leaks without having to remove the insulation material? This would enable one to identify the exact location of the leak and then remove only that portion of the insulation for repair
This is a tricky problem; detectors can be used.
In the past, I saw partitions in the insulation layer of pipes in factories; their purpose was to facilitate leak detection and location.
What type of detector is it? Could you please explain it briefly?
