Xiao Linbo, the chief commander of the Phosphorus Chemicals Project Department, provided a detailed introduction to the 2.4 million tons per year phosphogypsum purification project, and made arrangements for the subsequent construction phases. He ordered all construction units to carry out their work in strict accordance with various standard requirements, so as to ensure that the project is completed safely, with high quality, and efficiently. As an industrial waste, the discharge of phosphogypsum is having an increasingly significant negative impact on the environment and resources. To this end, the company plans to invest 350 million yuan in building a new facility for the treatment of 2.4 million tons of phosphogypsum per year. The project is constructed in two phases, covers an area of 150 mu, and has a construction period of 12 months. Once completed, the project will not only enable the company to eliminate any additional phosphogypsum production and thus reduce its environmental impact, but it will also generate significant social and economic benefits. It also meets the requirements related to achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
