May I ask whether it’s better to have a side-opening or top-opening structure for electric heaters used with sulfuric acid? Currently, we’re using those with a side-opening design, but after some time of use, they tend to leak gas. Also, is it more effective to use resistance bands or resistance wires? At present, we’re using resistance wires, but they break quite frequently
1. Side-opening doors are good; the key lies in the selection and installation of the packing used for sealing； 2. The resistor strip is fine; we’ve designed it ourselves before. Of course, there are many details involved.

That kind of opening isn’t important; what matters is selecting an appropriate surface load, and also considering the strength of the conductor. Resistive wires and resistive strips are pretty much the same.
