The more catalysts used for the acid production process from zinc concentrate smelting flue gas, the better; by how much can the height exceed the original design value? Is 5 cm high okay? What about 10cm?
Putting too much doesn’t help; it increases resistance. If too little is used, the resistance is low and the gas can take a shortcut. A good catalyst doesn’t require much – what matters is its quality
The production of acid from zinc concentrate involves a steady-state transformation; there is no need to worry about investment costs – the height can be increased by 10 centimeters, and while both resistance and conversion rate will change, the effects will not be significant.
