I would like to ask: In the production of sulfuric acid, the concentration of gas is expressed as a percentage. Is this percentage a mass percentage or a volume percentage?

It’s a volume ratio. Currently, there is a trend towards higher gas concentration; generally, it’s set at 10.5%. However, it is said that Xuanda has set it at 11–11.5%. It seems that such a high gas concentration might not necessarily lead to an ideal overall conversion rate! :dizzy:
