Traditional additives struggle to improve the dispersion of metal powders. The use of our hyperbranched resin powder in magnetic powder (iron oxide) allows the magnetic powder content to reach 80%. It complies with the RoHS and PEACH directives; it is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly resin free from heavy metals and other such substances.
Composite magnetic plastics are mainly composed of resin and magnetic powder; the resin serves as a bonding agent, while the magnetic powder is the source of magnetism. The magnetic powders used for filling are mainly ferrite magnetic powders and rare earth permanent magnet powders.
HyPer C100 hyperbranched resin is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly resin with a high molecular weight, no volatiles, and excellent compatibility with various plastics; it features a \"hyperbranched\" structure. This resin combines six functions in one: improving flow, increasing elongation, enhancing dispersion, boosting compatibility, increasing fill volume, and offering environmental sustainability along with high efficiency (a six-in-one solution).
Complies with EU and international environmental standards such as ROHS and REACH; it is a safe, non-toxic dispersant without plasticizers
The compatibility between metal powders and polymers is very poor; the inclusion of metal powders results in more pronounced weld lines when molding composites of polymers and metal powders, which severely affects the appearance quality. Adding just 0.7% HyPer C100 is sufficient to perfectly resolve the surface stream mark issue in ABS+3% copper/zinc powder composites, improving product quality without affecting other properties of the products.
Hyperbranched resins – glass fiber containment agents such as nylon+fiber, PP+fiber, PBT+fiber, etc; Engineering plastic flow modifiers ; Universal plastic compatibilizer ; Spray-free metal powder dispersant.
Carboxyl-terminated hyperbranched polymers possess a heat-resistant structure with a high thermal decomposition temperature! Structurally, compared to EBS (N,N’-ethylenediamine bisstearate), HyPer C100 has a high molecular weight (over 2,000), contains a large number of highly polar functional groups in the form of carboxyl groups (-COOH) on its surface, exhibits high temperature resistance (melting range of 160–180°C, thermal decomposition temperature around 300°C, as indicated by the Tg curve), is stable, non-volatile, and environmentally friendly (after decomposition at 400°C, only water and CO2 are produced, as shown by thermogravimetric analysis). As a high-temperature resistant, multi-functional flow and dispersion lubricant, the increase in polar groups in HyPer C100 resin leads to improved compatibility with highly polar polymers ; The polar carboxyl group has a strong adsorption capacity for inorganic pigments and the like, enabling the dispersion of these pigments/fillers/functionality powders in high-molecular-weight resin systems while maintaining a stable dispersion state of such powders ; Polar groups anchor the lubricant molecules to the surface of the molecular clusters with effective rheology, exerting a significant influence on rheology even at low lubricant concentrations ; Carboxylic acids and their derivatives can wet metal surfaces, producing a significant demolding effect! In other words, HyPer C100 is a multi-functional internal and external lubricant!
