The technological upgrade project for ethylene sulfate production at Yadong New Energy was put into operation. Recently, the expansion project at Hebei Yadong New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., aimed at increasing annual production capacity to 1,500 tons of ethylene sulfate, began trial production, and the first batch of ethylene sulfate was successfully produced. All quality parameters of this product met the required standards, indicating the complete success of this technological upgrade project. This technical upgrade took 50 days, and the Yadong New Energy team overcame numerous difficulties to ultimately achieve efficient and high-quality operation. The project utilizes a completely new catalytic system that significantly improves catalytic efficiency and conversion rates, while also achieving notable advancements in environmental protection by effectively reducing the emissions of waste materials. The project has achieved comprehensive optimization in terms of cost control, environmentally friendly processes, and production reliability, and will provide solid technical and operational support for the second phase of the project. Yadong New Energy is located in the centralized area of the chemical industry park in Xiwang Town, Jizhou District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province. The company focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of additives for lithium battery electrolytes. The company plans to launch a second-phase expansion project in 2026, aiming to raise its annual production capacity to 6,000–7,000 tons. It also intends to further optimize the catalysis and post-treatment processes, taking advantage of the development opportunities in the new energy vehicle and energy storage industries in order to enhance its overall production capacity and market competitiveness. Vinyl sulfate is widely used in the fields of chemical industry, energy, and laboratory reagents and supplies. In lithium-ion batteries, it can serve as an additive to the electrolyte, playing a key role in improving battery performance.
