What processes are commonly used for the monomer dehydration step? We use an oil-free piston booster + drying adsorption tower (4) system; what kind of systems does everyone else use? How is it being used? Our booster pump is failing frequently; how can this be resolved? Which domestic manufacturers of pressure boosters are the best? Recommend some
The inlet pressure of the booster must remain stable; it is best to only apply pressure and not create negative pressure. In the original purification and dehydration process, the booster pump generates both pressure and negative pressure, which easily causes damage to the slides as well as the intake and exhaust valves. In such cases, it is best from a technical perspective to add a vacuum pump; the vacuum pump creates negative pressure while the booster pump is responsible for generating positive pressure, thereby resolving this issue. We have just completed the technical upgrades, and the performance is quite good.
We have also encountered the situation you described. The main reason is the increased pressure fluctuations before the booster pump, which can easily cause damage to the sliding surfaces as well as deformation of the suction and exhaust valve plates, thereby affecting performance. Technical improvements are needed in the process: vacuum pumps should be added to carry out vacuum extraction separately, while boosters are used for pressurization and air circulation, thereby stabilizing the inlet pressure of the boosters; this makes the operation of the boosters much more stable. We have just completed the technical upgrades, and the performance is quite good.
