Use of coding technology in PVC product packaging lines

Hello everyone: What are the main inkjet coding technologies currently used in the production and packaging processes of PVC? Our company is currently using large-character inkjet printers of the solenoid valve type, those that use ink and solvents; if the nozzle is not used for a day, it tends to get clogged. The cost of consumables amounts to tens of thousands over the course of a year. I’d like to ask: what marking technologies are being used by various organizations these days (small characters, laser, large characters, or something else?) ) Thank you!
We use small nozzles, and it’s essential to clean them thoroughly after each use so they can be used again. We used to face problems with clogged nozzles every day; cleaning them more often resolved that issue
The lasers are good; one unit has been in use for three years and seems to have never required repairs. There is also a problem of clogged nozzles with the small-character models, and the operating environment isn’t ideal either.
It seems that those using large-character inkjet printers of the solenoid valve type, which use ink and solvents, are quite common! Is there any new technology available?
