Bohai Chemical: Partial commissioning of new material projects for acrylates and superabsorbent resins

On February 25, Bohai Chemical announced that some of the projects related to its new materials for acrylates and superabsorbent resins were ready for operation, and production began officially on February 24, 2026. The project is carried out by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical Co., Ltd., marking the company’s transition from focusing on propylene as a single product to operating in various fields related to high-performance polymer materials. Since it will take time for the entire project to be completed, and given the uncertainties in the market, factors such as fluctuations in raw material prices and increased competition may arise, posing a risk that the project’s outcomes will not meet expectations.
