I would like to ask the experts: how are processes such as polymerization, hydrogenation, and stripping simulated in the SBS or SEBS process? Should I choose PRO II or ASPEN software? It seems that no corresponding substances can be found for either of these two software programs? How do the experts handle it? Thank you.
Both PRO II and ASPEN software have a POLYMER module that requires a separate license, and its price is much higher than that of the basic steady-state simulation engineering suite. To simulate SBS or SEBS copolymerization systems, in addition to the general polymer modules POLYMER or POLYMER PLUS, it is advisable to have dedicated modules for SBS or SEBS as well.
