Since the beginning of 2025, the company has been engaged in research and development on prepregs made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers, as well as mixtures of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers with carbon fibers or aramid fibers. Relevant laboratory technical solutions have been developed, and efforts to explore applications for these materials are underway ； The company’s current production capacity for ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers is 3,000 tons. Of the total planned capacity of 12,000 tons, some of the production lines for the initial phase of 4,800 tons, funded through convertible bond issuance, have been built and put into operation, enabling the mass production of fiber products in various specifications to meet the needs of different applications ； Going forward, as production capacity is gradually increased and production technologies as well as application development techniques continue to be improved, the company will further strengthen its partnerships with customers and expand the range of applications, thereby enhancing its supply capabilities in this field. The company’s robot-related products are being developed in a steady manner across various categories and at different stages. Protective products such as flexible joint guards and protective gloves have already been put into commercial use. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber-driven tendons and skin-like garments/gloves have been sent to several leading companies both domestically and internationally for testing, with continuous improvements being made. Electronic skin-like garments/gloves are currently focused on sensor integration and functional validation. Meanwhile, the construction of pilot production lines is progressing in an orderly manner, and the overall progress is in line with expectations.
