Recently, the project of Fengyuan Hetai (Lanzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd., located in the chemical industry park of Lanzhou New Area, to produce 2,000 tons per year of modified polyurethane products, was successfully completed and has entered the trial production phase. This marks another key project in the field of high-end chemical new materials coming to fruition within the park, providing strong impetus for strengthening the regional new materials industry and enhancing its core competitiveness. The total investment in this project is 30 million yuan. Once operational, it will be able to produce 1,100 tons of modified polyurethane resin, 200 tons of polyurethane prepolymer, and 700 tons of polyurethane polyether per year. The products are designed for high-end applications such as undersea cables and solar panels. Thanks to their excellent weather resistance, hydrolysis resistance, high insulation properties, and structural stability, they meet the stringent requirements of industries like offshore engineering and new energy equipment for special polymer materials, thereby helping to break international technological monopolies in these high-end material areas.
