Sudden drop in the rotational speed of the catalytic air compressor

At around 5 a.m., the speed of the catalytic compressor dropped by more than 100 revolutions, but it returned to its normal speed in less than a minute, causing surging in the compressor and fluctuations in the reaction pressure. Could the experts please help analyze the possible reasons for this situation?
Fluctuations in steam pressure, governor failure, unstable regulation
There was no fluctuation in steam pressure or temperature; rather, a sudden drop in rotational speed led to a sharp decrease in the amount of steam used by the compressor, which in turn caused a slight fluctuation in steam pressure
Is the turbine back-pressure type, fully condensing type, or extraction-condensing type? If it’s not a device issue, check if there are any fluctuations in the extraction.
Is it a condensing type? Are there any fluctuations in the inlet and outlet pressure trends, flow rate trends, and steam temperature of the turbines and compressors? Have you found the reason for that?
Measure the temperature of the oil pipeline running from the control valve to the hydraulic motor, to see if the hydraulic oil flowing to the motor has dropped below 5°.
Our catalytic air pressure unit is equipped with a centrifugal air compressor and a medium-pressure backpressure turbine.
The specific cause has not been identified; the equipment supervisor suspects it is a throttle malfunction
What is the quality of your medium-pressure steam? Is the inlet filter clogged, resulting in high pressure drop?
It’s not easy to determine the cause of such problems right away; in some cases, the cause may never be identified. All that can be done is to conduct examinations and then keep a closer watch.
