The problem of wear on the thermocouples at the outlet of the lift pipe in your catalytic unit – do the thermocouples fail throughout the entire operation cycle of your unit? Ours break after just one month of operation. Protective shields are installed inside the instruments, but if they are too short, wear still occurs; if they are too long, the temperature readings become inaccurate. How do you solve this issue?
A guard plate is installed at the outlet of the lift pipe of the catalytic unit in the direction of catalyst flushing, and a wear-resistant lining is added on the outside of the guard plate to protect it.
Try using a thermocouple of better quality, or find a manufacturer that guarantees quality for replacement.
