[Lanzhou Petrochemical’s aviation kerosene production reached a record high this year] Reporters learned from Lanzhou Petrochemical Company that this year, the company kept pace with market trends, carefully analyzed the supply and demand dynamics of aviation kerosene, and took measures such as stabilizing plant operations, upgrading technical management, and overcoming various challenges to accelerate the production of aviation kerosene. To date, the company’s production of aviation fuel has reached 843,900 tons, accounting for 81.9% of the annual target and representing a 3.3% increase on a year-on-year basis – the highest level ever recorded. Stable and efficient device operation is the cornerstone of increasing jet fuel production. In terms of process management, Lanzhou Petrochemical optimizes the reaction temperature and adjusts the reflux and bottom temperatures of the distillation tower to ensure product quality. To ensure the stable operation of the core compressor, an intelligent monitoring system is introduced to collect data in real time and predict potential risks, thereby ensuring that the equipment operates at its optimal level. Meanwhile, Lanzhou Petrochemical established a team to address the challenges related to aviation fuel, successfully solving issues such as \"improving the thermal efficiency of heating furnaces\" and \"liquid contamination in the recycle hydrogen stream of the 600,000 tons per year aviation fuel hydrogenation unit.\" It also set up a group for monitoring aviation fuel quality, strengthened control at the source, implemented tracking throughout the entire process, and ensured timely communication and handling of any abnormalities, thereby guaranteeing that the aviation fuel left the factory in high quality. In terms of production and sales strategies, Lanzhou Petrochemical continues to optimize the scheduling of its production facilities; in February, it arranged for the 900,000 tons per year diesel hydroprocessing unit to start operating ahead of schedule, in order to increase the production of aviation fuel before the peak season. At the same time, effective measures are taken to address seasonal fluctuations in the market. By utilizing warehouses located in other locations as a foundation, active cooperation is maintained with AVIC Oil, so that stockpiling is carried out to the fullest extent during off-peak periods, while all stored goods are sold during peak periods. This approach ensures stable market supply and improves storage efficiency as well as the quality of goods released for sale. In addition, Lanzhou Petrochemical has merged the two units for jet fuel hydrogenation, with capacities of 600,000 tons per year each, in order to facilitate communication between operators from different units. It also holds events such as operation skill competitions, thereby effectively enhancing the overall competence of the staff and ensuring the long-term operation of the facilities.
