I read in the documentation that, regarding the amine solution regeneration process, it’s best to keep the mass concentration of H2S in the lean solution below 1 g/l. This is easy to understand – the lower the concentration, the better for the lean solution to absorb it. But I think there are also requirements for the rich liquid; the mass concentration of H2S in it generally should not exceed 9 g/l. Why are there requirements also for the rich liquid? I’m not quite sure; please explain, extra points for that

This year, the sulfur content of the crude oil purchased by the company is above 1%, and the sulfur content in the catalyst feed is above 1.3%. Ugh, sulfur, nitrogen, and all that stuff are the worst – in the amine-rich liquid used in hydrodesulfurization, the hydrogen sulfide concentration can reach twenty or thirty, which is absolutely insane.
Absorption has a dynamic equilibrium that is related to problems and pressures. Rich amine solution absorbs sulfur, rather than dissolving it
