In 2026, the 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" will focus on the importance of safety for everyone and the need for everyone to know how to respond in emergency situations, as well as on identifying and addressing potential risks and hazards. At the beginning of June, the efficiency improvement project for the circulating water towers at Nanhua Company was completed, and the results showed that the cooling capacity of each tower had increased to over 95%, thereby enabling savings in water and electricity use and improving efficiency. The company has explored the potential for energy savings, and starting in 2024 it launched a three-year action plan to improve the efficiency of its circulating water towers, carrying out the renovations in phases. The third batch of renovation tasks was completed in March this year, bringing the total number of upgraded circulating water towers to 17, thus achieving the goals set for the three-year efficiency improvement initiative. This renovation focuses on optimizing both the performance of the equipment and its operating processes. On one hand, variable-frequency fans are installed in the cooling towers, and high-efficiency fillers as well as honeycomb type water collectors are used, thereby enhancing the heat exchange capacity and significantly reducing water loss ； On the other hand, high-efficiency pump sets are installed as replacements, and the hydraulic model is optimized based on the actual operating conditions, thereby further improving the efficiency of pump operation and reducing power consumption. According to comprehensive calculations, after the renovation and commissioning, the project can save 240,000 tons of water per year, as well as over 8.4 million kWh of electricity, demonstrating significant results in energy conservation and consumption reduction.
