The 35KV voltage level is gradually shifting towards the use of cold-shrink types, while heat-shrink types are still widely used in the 10KV and 1KV voltage ranges due to their lower cost. 2. Cold shrinkage materials are expensive; currently, their cost is approximately 4 to 10 times that of heat shrinkage materials, or even more. However, considering long-term operating costs, cold shrinkage materials should be given more consideration for voltages above 10 KV, especially for voltages above 35 KV, as they help reduce long-term operating costs.
