Hello, the company plans to install connection pipes in pools numbers 1 and 3. These pipes are made of DN200 carbon steel, and holes need to be drilled in the walls of the pools. However, the construction team says that they are only responsible for drilling the holes; there is no suitable material available to ensure a proper seal between the wall and the pipes. I would like to ask civil engineering experts: what material would be suitable for use as a sealing material in this case?
What I have seen is that on the inner and outer sides of the wall with pipes installed, the surface is textured, formwork is set up, and grouting is applied to achieve sealing.

Use an outer water-stop ring, compact the waterproof mortar with secondary grouting, and then reinforce the water-facing side with waterproof membrane or waterproof resin. Use waterproof building sealant for sealing on the inner side
What is the water pressure? Has the original poster solved it? I have a good solution – it’s very easy and fast to install and remove. It uses Lycron rubber with a triple ethylene propylene matrix, based on a patented formula from Sweden’s MCT BRATTBERG; this ensures a water-tight seal with a pressure resistance of up to 6 bar. There are applications in hydraulic engineering/dam projects, and it is also fire-resistant. It can provide a seal even when cables or pipes pass through it.
