For temporary power supply in a newly built factory area, the cables need to run along the fence; do they also need to be buried or installed overhead? Are there any simpler alternatives?
First, examine the overall layout plan of the factory site and draw a diagram showing the overhead path of the electrical wires. Second, if the factory area is not large, it is sufficient to run a cable along the perimeter wall; otherwise, it is better to place temporary transformers close to the load areas
The main issue is that the power usage cycle is quite long, over a year. I’m worried that running it openly along the wall doesn’t comply with the standards. If it follows the specifications, can it only be buried or installed as an overhead line?
It’s okay; temporary power lines aren’t monitored by anyone, so as long as proper protective measures are taken, they will eventually be removed.
For a new factory facility, it is recommended to use an elevated installation; burying it can easily lead to conflicts with subsequent excavation work and create potential problems. If the project timeline is over a year, don’t hesitate to take the extra effort to ensure everything is done properly. When you’re done with the demolition and look back, you’ll realize that following the standards was the right thing to do.
