On the parallel operation of transformers

The two transformers located on the 10KV Section 1 and Section 2 need to be operated in parallel on the 400V side; should we take into account the operating mode at the 10KV level? In other words, do we need to change the 10KV operation from segmented mode to a mode where it operates through Section 1 and the busbar?
It is necessary to change the operation mode of 10KV from segmented operation to single-phase and bus coupling operation
What’s the reason? Is it fear of backflow?
