Current is flowing through the cable ground wire

In the motor circuit of a friend’s company, the connection is delta-shaped on-site with both ends grounded; the cable length is approximately 200 meters. It was found in the distribution room that a current of 5A was flowing through the ground wire, while one inverter circuit had a current of over 20 amps. What could be the cause of this? The insulation of the cables is in good condition.
The on-site grounding point and the grounding point in the power distribution room are not at the same location. The low-voltage power cables are grounded at both ends, and the slight voltage difference between these two ends creates a circulating current in the ground wire. Recheck the on-site grounding and measure whether it meets the requirements.
