On November 27, the comprehensive completion acceptance for the first phase of Yulin Chemical Yuguangxin High-Tech Materials Company’s 500,000 tons per year DMC production facility was successfully completed. During the comprehensive completion acceptance process, the acceptance team was divided into three sub-teams: those responsible for work safety and environmental protection, project evaluation, and finance. Through methods such as listening to reports, conducting on-site inspections, and verifying documents, they carried out a thorough review of aspects including project documentation, individual item acceptances, the use of project funds, and financial settlements. Upon verification, the first phase of the 500,000 tons/year DMC project has all the necessary approvals in place; all construction tasks specified in the design have been completed, and approvals related to fire safety, safety measures, protection against occupational diseases, soil and water conservation, environmental protection, archive management, as well as energy efficiency assessments have been obtained. The project’s settlement and financial closing processes are essentially complete. During the trial production period, the unit operated smoothly, and the process parameters and product quality met the design requirements. The final acceptance team unanimously agreed to approve the project for comprehensive completion acceptance. It is reported that the project achieved several remarkable accomplishments during its construction period: it was successfully completed on July 30, 2024; on October 19 of the same year, the entire process was finalized in one go, resulting in high-quality DMC products; and on October 26, it reached full operational capacity ; By October 2025, trial production was successfully completed, achieving \"starting production in the same year, exceeding production targets in that same year, and maintaining profitability on a continuous basis.\" To date, the production capacity of the DMC plant remains the highest among similar plants in China, while its consumption rates for methanol and nitric acid are at the best levels in the industry. The successful completion of this comprehensive acceptance inspection marks the official entry into production phase of the first phase of the 500,000 tons per year DMC project, laying a solid foundation for Shaanxi Coal Group to accelerate the development of an integrated coal utilization industry cluster covering both upstream and downstream processes.
