With such nitrogen generators, there are requirements for the air used in instruments; generally, the pressure and dew point should be below the local minimum temperature by 10°C.
I use a nitrogen generation system based on the PSA pressure swing adsorption principle from Simika. The dew point level is determined by whether there is any condensate present. In my case, the instrument air for the PSA nitrogen generation system is supplied by the system itself, as compressed air needs to have its oil and water removed and its dew point controlled before it enters the adsorption towers. As for how much air is required for the pneumatic valves, I’m not an expert in this area; it’s recommended to consult the manufacturer of the pneumatic valves
