We are using the CASS process; recently there has been a lot of foam on the surface, but the water intake parameters are normal. Could anyone tell me what the cause might be?

Does the water supply contain components such as surfactants (detergents)? Either a sudden increase in pollutants entering the water, leading to an increased load, can cause foam.
