The various types of impurities filtered by ultra-pure water equipment can be dealt with in each individual step of the filtration process. For example, if the primary filters used in the pre-treatment stage are not used for a long time, bacteria and microorganisms will accumulate on their surfaces; once the equipment starts operating again, these contaminants will inevitably make their way into other filters within the system. Although reverse osmosis membranes can remove over 90% of the impurities, a small portion of them still manages to pass on to the next stage of filtration. 　　II. Ion exchange resins can also become contaminated by microorganisms even when not in use for an extended period of time. Once the equipment is not used for a long time, the resins serve as a breeding ground for microorganisms. As a result, when ultra-pure water is drawn from such resins, contaminants will inevitably be included in the water, and such water certainly does not meet the requirements for analytical testing. It can interfere with experimental data and cause unnecessary problems for customers.
