Shaanxi Coal Yulin has invested 176 billion yuan in the first phase of the second-phase project for the clean, differentiated processing of coal at a rate of 15 million tons per year; the feasibility study of the dynamic compaction method for foundation treatment was recently approved by experts. This approval provides a reasonable direction and basis for carrying out the construction work in a scientific manner. It is reported that the foundation pre-treatment area for Phase 1 of Project Phase 2 covers approximately 9,254 mu, with an overall elevation difference of over 100 meters. The volume of earthwork involved in excavation and filling exceeds 30 million cubic meters, and the maximum depth of filling reaches 46 meters. To ensure the construction quality of large-scale projects, Yulin Chemical invited a number of senior industry experts from institutions such as the Shaanxi Building Science Research Institute, Northwest Comprehensive Survey and Design Institute, Xi’an Surveying and Mapping Institute, Xi’an Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry, and Xi’an Survey and Design Institute of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry, and organized specialized review meetings with the relevant departments within the company. After listening to the presentations and reviewing the relevant materials, the participants conducted on-site inspections and in-depth discussions to analyze and anticipate potential risks and issues. Following discussions, the meeting agreed that the dynamic compaction foundation treatment plan for Phase 1 of Yulin Chemical Project 2 could achieve the desired results. “What level of intensity should be used for dynamic compaction? How many times should dynamic compaction be performed? How to layout it? How to detect it? ”Every detail has been carefully considered, thoroughly discussed, and rigorously justified. To minimize the impact of foundation treatment on surrounding chemical plants, the participants developed a series of protective measures, including \"continuous monitoring and early warning through an intelligent monitoring system,\" \"determining the scope of impact through specialized tests,\" and \"designing foundation treatment plans for different areas.\" At the same time, while ensuring the safe and efficient construction of the project, Yulin Chemical Company adheres to the business philosophy of achieving good results despite limited resources. By adjusting the low-efficiency approach of high-layer strong ramming with an energy level of 18,000 kN·m to a more efficient method of low-layer strong ramming with multiple repetitions at an energy level of 12,000 kN·m, and by reducing the number of ramming sessions from 6 to 4, the company manages to minimize costs and shorten the project timeline.
