Shandong New Era’s sectional lifting of polyolefin loop reactor

Recently, the loop reactor, a key piece of equipment for Shandong New Era Polymer Materials Co., Ltd.’s 700,000 tons per year high-end polyolefin production project, was successfully lifted into place. The project is located in the Maqiao Chemical Industry Park in Maqiao Town, Huantai County, Zibo City. It involves the construction of two production lines capable of producing 350,000 tons of polyethylene per year, utilizing advanced international three-ring pipe production technology; the resulting product is high-quality polyethylene. Once the project is put into operation, it will alleviate the problem of China’s long-term reliance on imports for high-end polyethylene products, thereby providing a crucial element for the development of Zibo’s local polyolefin industry chain. 　　A total of 3 loop reactor units were lifted this time, with a combined lifting weight of over 1,200 tons; they were lifted in 7 sections. The first loop reactor is 7 meters wide and 65.3 meters high, with a lifting weight of 171 tons. The twin-crane lifting method was employed, with a 600-ton crawler crane serving as the main crane and a 320-ton crawler crane acting as the auxiliary crane, to successfully complete this task.
