On June 5, the first piece of equipment for the Jiangsu Hailun petrochemical project – the refining dryer air discharge scrubber – was successfully lifted into place, marking the full entry of the project construction into the equipment installation phase and representing a milestone in its progress. It is reported that the project involves a total of 359 pieces of equipment, of which 115 are moving equipment and 244 are stationary equipment. The refined dryer and air-release scrubber being lifted this time weigh 20.3 tons in total. For this lifting operation, a 260-ton crawler crane was used as the main lifting device, while a 25-ton truck crane was used to assist. Throughout the lifting process, the project team strictly followed the approved lifting plan, making careful arrangements and overseeing the lifting equipment, materials, and construction procedures to ensure the success of this first lifting operation, thus marking the beginning of the equipment lifting phase for this project.
