The first section of the modular pipeline for Huayi’s syngas supply and supporting infrastructure project was successfully shipped. Recently, the modular pipeline for the first phase of this project was dispatched without issue. The project is located in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, where the plant layout is compact and construction space is limited. In response to the company’s initiatives of \"modular construction\" and \"pre-fabrication in factories\" as part of its \"six modernizations\" strategy, the project department has actively carried out work on the feasibility study for modular pipeline tunnels, construction preparation, and transportation planning. The modular conduit tunnel of this project is divided into five sections, with a total length of approximately 200 meters and a total weight of around 980 tons. Modular construction of pipe tunnels effectively addresses the issue of limited construction space, ensures the smooth flow of main roads, and at the same time, by adjusting the construction procedures, it greatly accelerates the overall progress of the project. Tunnel module construction is part of systems engineering; the project team organized technical personnel to carefully study and plan the modular construction and transportation methods for tunnels. Dedicated staff were assigned to oversee tasks such as construction planning, delivery of materials, calculation of module strength, surveying of transportation routes, and testing of soil bearing capacity. Risk assessments were also conducted, emergency measures were improved, and transportation simulations were carried out a week in advance to ensure that all aspects of the work were handled flawlessly.
