On December 4, the nitrogen buffer tank (V-11403) for the Kungang Lanzhou catalyst project at the fourth branch was successfully lifted into place in one go, marking the successful completion of the lifting work for the first piece of equipment in this project and laying a solid foundation for the smooth installation of subsequent equipment. It is understood that the nitrogen buffer tank to be lifted this time has special properties and presents installation challenges. The equipment weighs 6.435 tons, with dimensions of φ2200mm×7600mm; it belongs to Category I pressure vessels, which are subject to strict safety standards. Its installation location is within the framework of the production unit, and it is necessary to pass through a two-story floor with precision; traditional crane lifting methods are not suitable, which poses challenges to the construction process. To overcome the constraints posed by the site conditions and ensure safe and efficient lifting operations, the project’s technical team got involved early on and made careful plans. Through repeated surveys and mapping, as well as the development of lifting plans, the lifting method was ultimately determined to be using a 10t electric hoist as the main lifting device and a 50t truck crane for assisting with the lift. During the lifting process, the on-site supervisor coordinated everything accurately, while the operators worked closely together. After nearly half an hour of intense and orderly efforts, the nitrogen buffer tank was placed in position precisely. This demonstrated the project team’s technical expertise and management skills in lifting equipment in complex environments and carrying out construction under special conditions, thereby boosting the morale of all those involved in the project. Next, the project team will continue to uphold a work style of striving for excellence and taking practical responsibilities, by refining the construction plan, strengthening process control, and optimizing resource allocation. They will strictly ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements, so as to guarantee that the project progresses steadily toward its established goals.
