The individual driving method involves starting from one end of the sheet pile wall and driving each pile one by one until the piling work is completed. Its advantage is that no auxiliary supports are required during pile driving, the construction is simple, and the driving speed is fast ; The disadvantage is that it easily causes one side of the pile to tilt, and errors accumulate over time and are difficult to correct. Therefore, this piling method is only suitable for situations where the requirements for the sheet pile wall are moderate and the length of the sheet piles is relatively small. (2) Waler pile insertion method: Before driving the piles, waler piles are driven into the ground at regular intervals along both sides of the sheet pile wall. Single-layer or double-layer walers are then installed on these piles. Subsequently, based on the markings on the steel walers, the steel sheet piles are inserted one by one. And groups of 10 to 20 piles are formed; in each group, the steel plate piles at both ends are first driven into the ground as positioning piles, after which the other steel plate piles are driven in in a stepped manner.
