Recently, the high-end new material project for the production of C4 and C5 compounds by Guangdong Isco successfully passed the fire safety inspection. During the acceptance process, the Construction Management Bureau of Jieyang Dainanhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone conducted tests and inspections to check the operational coordination of the fire protection systems as well as whether the fire extinguishing equipment was adequate. The staff of the project department cooperated actively and adjusted resource allocation in a timely manner in accordance with the work requirements. Upon testing, it was confirmed that the temperature sensing detection system, fire alarm system, sprinkler system, and public address system were all operating properly. Equipment such as fire water cannons, the central control unit for operating the deluge valves and sprinkler pipes functioned smoothly, and all fire protection devices met the relevant safety requirements. As a result, the project passed the fire safety inspection successfully, providing a safety guarantee for the subsequent trial production phase. The project department will continue to strictly implement fire safety management regulations. By leveraging the digital QHSE management system, it will carry out comprehensive dynamic monitoring of project personnel, mechanical equipment, and materials throughout the entire process, thereby strengthening lean management and ensuring that project construction tasks are completed with high quality. Total investment: 7,332,150,000 yuan, of which 150,000,000 yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures. Construction scale: The project involves the construction of 2 sets of carbon pentane separation units with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons each (including processes for carbon pentane hydrogenation, isoprene hydrogenation, and dicyclopentadiene purification), 1 set of SIS/SEPS unit with an annual capacity of 80,000 tons, 2 sets of petroleum resin production units with an annual capacity of 35,000 tons each, 2 sets of curing agent production units with an annual capacity of 40,000 tons each, and 1 set of maleic anhydride production unit with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons.
