On the morning of July 30, the first lifting operation for one of the 4,000-ton crawler cranes used in Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical’s upgrade project was successfully completed – namely the lifting of the quench tower for Unit 3. This marks the entry of the project into a critical phase involving the lifting of large-scale equipment. This was also the first time in the construction history of Maoming Petrochemical that a 4,000-ton crawler crane was used for lifting operations.
