**Installation of the main body of the molten salt storage tank for the Dunhuang solar thermal + project of the Energy Group is complete

On July 30, Lansi Heavy Equipment Energy Storage Company completed the installation of the main bodies of the two high- and low-temperature molten salt storage tanks for the **Energy Group’s Dunhuang ‘Thermal Solar +’ 100MW molten salt linear Fresnel thermal power project. The project has now progressed to the stages of equipment takeover and assembly, water filling tests, as well as insulation and anti-corrosion treatments
Since the completion of the civil engineering work for the foundations of the high and low temperature molten salt tanks in mid-May and the initiation of the equipment installation phase, the LANSI Heavy Equipment Installation project team has organized tasks meticulously and carried out construction in a scientific manner. Overcoming adverse conditions such as high temperatures and strong winds, they have made full use of their strengths in project management and technical expertise. By ensuring proper coordination between the tank assembly and welding processes, they have maintained high welding quality and kept the construction schedule on track. This has enabled the precise joining of the large tank components, with a diameter of 33.8 meters and a height of 15 meters, to within millimeter levels, thus laying a solid foundation for achieving the overall project timeline goals
