Recently, the main structure of the hydrogen fluoride ether project, which is part of the second phase of the industrialization of fluorine-containing organic new materials at Tianjin Changlu Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. located in the Nangang Industrial Zone of Tianjin Economic Development Zone, was completed. This marks a milestone in the project’s development and lays a solid foundation for its successful commissioning by 2026. The total investment for the Phase II project of new materials amounts to approximately 500 million yuan, with a land area of 120,000 square meters. Two sets of hydrogen fluoride ether production facilities along with related supporting facilities will be built; once operational, this will enable an additional production capacity of 2,072 tons per year, with the annual output value exceeding 400 million yuan. Since construction began in March this year, by leveraging Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area’s \"Taida Industrial Renovation 5.0\" approval system, as well as mechanisms such as starting work immediately after land acquisition and parallel approval processes, the project’s preliminary preparation time has been significantly reduced, providing a solid foundation for its rapid progress. During the construction phase, the project relies on the EPC turnkey contract model as its foundation, establishing a closely integrated \"design–procurement–construction\" system. BIM technology is used for 1:1 modeling in all disciplines, and key equipment parameters are confirmed during the design stage to ensure seamless integration between the procurement of long-term-use equipment and the construction work. At the same time, to accelerate the construction progress, 6 pile drivers were deployed for 24/7 operation for the project’s pile foundation work; 5 work sites were set up for simultaneous construction of the civil infrastructure, and Tekla software was used for prefabricated processing of the steel structures, thereby significantly improving the installation efficiency. At present, the procurement completion rate for the project’s equipment exceeds 70%; the first batch of equipment has largely arrived, and the delivery quality rate for the core equipment is 100%. The project has now fully entered the stage of mechanical and electrical installation as well as interior decoration. Once the project is put into operation, it will, thanks to its independently developed green synthesis process, reach international leading standards. It will help fill the gaps in China’s industrial chain and enhance the sophistication, precision, and differentiation of fluorine-based chemical products in fields such as aerospace and national defense, providing strong support for the upgrading and development of related industries in China.
