On August 28, the Tianjin Shihua crude oil storage project, constructed jointly by Sinopec Fourth Construction Storage and Transportation Engineering Company and the First Engineering Company, saw the commencement of work on 12 double-disc external floating roof crude oil storage tanks, each with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters. The T-14# crude oil storage tank officially began its water filling test, marking the full start of the project’s hydrostatic testing phase. The planned water level for this test is over 20 meters, representing a critical test of the tank’s structural strength and sealing performance. Faced with multiple challenges such as tight construction schedules in the summer and frequent rainfall during the rainy season, the project team planned ahead, established a long-term management mechanism, and organized the construction work in a scientific manner. A series of measures, such as adding drainage ditches on site, reinforcing coverage with waterproof tarpaulins, and properly scheduling work procedures after rain, effectively reduced the impact of weather conditions on the project schedule. In terms of construction organization, various departments work in coordination, adopting an efficient model of \"two shifts for personnel and continuous operation of machinery\" to carry out work around the clock. Every stage of the construction process is strictly monitored to ensure that the safety and quality of the project are under control.
