As an important supporting project for CNPC’s Dalian Petrochemical relocation initiative, the Dalian (Xizhongdao) Crude Oil Commercial Reserve Facility project commenced construction in May this year. The newly built storage area is equipped with 9 crude oil tank groups, of which 8 are 150,000 cubic meter tank groups and 1 is a 100,000 cubic meter tank group. Each tank group is equipped with 4 storage tanks, for a total of 36 crude oil tanks with a capacity of 5.2 million cubic meters. The reservoir area is divided into a production zone, an auxiliary production zone, an administrative management zone, and a dedicated fire station. Among them, the production area includes oil tank areas, 1 oil transfer pump room, 1 metering room, 2 charging rooms for inspection robots, and 5 production auxiliary buildings. Auxiliary production area: includes 1 accident tank with a capacity of 145,000 cubic meters, 1 accident tank with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters, 1 initial rainwater tank with a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters, 1 rainwater monitoring tank with a capacity of 7,000 cubic meters, 1 fire fountain room, 2 fire water tanks with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters each, a laboratory, a 10kV power distribution station and 1 low-voltage substation, as well as 1 comprehensive equipment room. Administrative area: Composed of a comprehensive office building and a garage. Specialized fire station: It consists of a fire service complex, a training tower, and training grounds.
