According to news on September 13, the extrusion granulation unit of the 400,000-ton/year full-density polyethylene plant in the Guangxi Petrochemical integration and transformation project, which is under the general contracting of Huanqiu Engineering Company under CNPC Engineering and constructed by Qijian Company, completed its first successful trial run with actual materials.
The facility employs the internationally advanced UNIPOL gas-phase fluidized bed polyethylene production process, and thanks to its advantages such as high production efficiency, stable product quality, and low energy consumption, it is able to meet the diverse demands of the market for high-quality polyethylene products. As the \"core component\" of the system, the ability of the extrusion granulator to perform granulation successfully is directly related to the pace at which the entire project progresses. The success of this trial run has provided another boost to accelerating the project’s commissioning.
