Recently, the Hubei Huahua Chemical Project, constructed by China National Chemical Fourth Construction Corporation Central South Branch, reached a key milestone: the 320-ton urea synthesis tower was successfully lifted into place, marking the official transition of the project from the civil construction phase to the intensive equipment installation phase. This development lays a solid foundation for the project’s timely commissioning. As the \"heart\" equipment of Huahua Chemical’s urea production line and the core component of the entire upgrade project, the urea synthesis tower that was lifted this time is 27.5 meters tall and 3 meters in diameter; the precision of its installation directly affects the operational efficiency of the facility once it is put into use. To ensure the successful lifting of this key equipment in one go, the project team conducted thorough evaluations and optimized the specific lifting plan in advance; ultimately, the \"double-crane lifting\" method was chosen: a 1250-ton crawler crane was used as the main lifting device, with a 900-ton truck crane assisting in guiding the equipment, thereby ensuring that the lifting capacity matched the weight of the equipment and the conditions at the site. At the same time, the project team maintained a \"safety first\" approach throughout the entire process. Before lifting began, a thorough inspection of the lifting equipment was carried out; safety zones were carefully designated, and operating procedures for each position were clearly defined. The lifting process was monitored in real time to ensure the correct positioning of the equipment with zero errors, resulting in a safe, efficient, and smooth completion of the entire operation.
