The Yumen Juhua project has entered the main construction phase

Since its commencement in January last year, the high-performance silicon-fluorine new materials integration project of Gansu Juhua New Materials Co., Ltd., located in the old urban area of Yumen City, has seen a total investment of 4.89 billion yuan. For the 10 sections of this project, 160 work areas have been established, accounting for 78% of all the work areas available. The project has officially entered a new phase of main construction, with an aim to achieve interim completion by June 2026, and to commence trial operations in the third quarter of the same year. Yumen City has made every effort to overcome challenges such as land acquisition and relocation sowie the provision of necessary resources, offering comprehensive support to ensure the smooth progress of the projects. Before construction began, the existing domestic waste landfill, dairy farm, and the 200,000-cubic-meter water tank were relocated from the site; 17 kilometers of high-voltage power transmission lines were moved, 6.6 kilometers of pipelines for construction electricity and 3.8 kilometers of pipelines for construction water were installed; 4 communication signal towers were put into use. The installation of 1.27 kilometers of steam pipelines progressed smoothly, ensuring that all the requirements for construction activities were met. In terms of supporting services, temporary office spaces and apartments have been put into use; 1,748 units of housing for employees’ temporary accommodation are under accelerated construction. Direct flight routes between Jiayuguan, Jiuquan and Quzhou airports have been launched, and the service support for project construction has been comprehensively improved. The integrated project for high-performance silicofluorine new materials developed by Gansu Juhua New Materials Co., Ltd. involves an investment of 41 billion yuan, making it the largest industrial project in our province to date. Once completed, it is expected to generate an annual industrial added value of over 32 billion yuan, thereby helping Yumen City become a key hub for the silicofluorine new materials industry in the Northwest region and enabling Gansu Province to achieve a historic breakthrough in this industry, going from having no such industry to having one.
