Recently, the patent for “A Composite Foundation Pit Support Method” applied for by Shanghai Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was approved. The abstract indicates that the present invention provides a construction method for a composite foundation pit support structure, which utilizes cement-soil mixing pile walls, several H-shaped steel members, reinforced concrete cap beams, cement-soil wall crown beams, drilled cast-in-place pile arrays, several prestressed anchor rods, pile array cap beams, and several connecting beams. The cement-soil mixing pile walls are installed around the foundation pit; drilled cast-in-place pile arrays are placed on the side of the cement-soil mixing pile walls that is close to the construction area of the foundation pit. The upper ends of the prestressed anchor rods are mounted on the pile array cap beams, and these prestressed anchor rods pass obliquely through the cement-soil mixing pile walls via first channels. The cement-soil wall crown beams and the pile array cap beams are connected rigidly to each other through the connecting beams. By using cement-soil mixing pile walls as the primary cantilevered retaining structure, and combining them with drilled cast-in-place pile arrays to form an integrated framework in which the cement-soil wall cap beams are connected to the pile top beams, this invention enables the excavation of the foundation pit without the need for supports. This facilitates construction operations, helps to reduce the construction time and costs, while also ensuring the overall safety and stability of the foundation pit during excavation.
