Recently, the assembly of a total of 14 recondensation columns and air coolers for the 300,000 tons per year PEO production unit in Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd.’s Jintang New Materials project, which was constructed by Erhua Jian, has been completed. This lays a solid foundation for the subsequent full installation of the process pipelines for the project. Located on Jintang Island in Dinghai District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, this project serves as a key pillar for the province’s high-end chemical materials industry. It also bears the important task of driving the development of this industry and facilitating the transformation and upgrading of the green petrochemical sector.
The installation of the equipment involves the assembly of 14 units in total, including the most prominent regenerator condensers (1225-E-0222 A-D) on the pipe tray and the stripping tower air coolers (1225-E-0311 A-J). Faced with challenges such as extensive auxiliary structures, numerous components, scattered parts, an assembly weight of 15 tons per unit, and work at heights during equipment installation, the project team planned in advance and carried out efficient alignment and positioning tasks to ensure that the overall installation progress was completed on schedule. In the civil engineering construction area, since the framing of the 40-meter-high reaction unit (10A) was successfully completed, there has been the task of removing the dozens-of-meters-tall external scaffolding. The project team enhanced the safety awareness and protective measures among the workers, overcame challenges such as working at heights in conjunction with other tasks, the precision required for the demolition process, and coordinating with workers working below, thereby advancing the project schedule on time and efficiently. The steady progress of this equipment installation, along with the safe removal of the scaffolding surrounding the reaction unit, is the result of the concerted efforts of all those involved in the project to overcome challenges. It lays a foundation for the subsequent installation of process pipelines, further boosting confidence in the project and motivating all team members to go all out to achieve the set goals.
