The mechanical completion of the supporting project for purchased light hydrocarbon feedstocks for Tianjin Nangang Ethylene Plant was achieved on October 26. At the construction site of this project, carried out by Sinopec Fourth Construction Company, the mechanical completion marked the transition of the project from the construction phase to the production preparation phase. Leaders from Tianjin Petrochemical, Sinopec Engineering Construction Company and other entities attended the completion ceremony. Dong Kexue, executive director and party secretary of Sinopec Fourth Construction Company, attended the completion ceremony and delivered a speech. Dong Kexue congratulated on the successful completion of the mechanical construction phase of the project, stating that he would make further efforts to strictly abide by the terms of the contract. He committed to fully cooperating in carrying out tasks such as intermediate inspections, ensuring the project is ready for operation, conducting final acceptance tests, and closing out the contract, so as to achieve successful commissioning of the plant at the first attempt. He also expressed his intention to work together with all parties involved in the project to create an \"innovative, profitable, and exemplary project\". Adhering to the principle of refined management, the project team incorporated modular construction methods and digital control techniques to overcome various challenges such as the construction of ethane storage tanks, equipment lifting, and the prefabrication and installation of prefabricated concrete ducts, thereby advancing the project construction efficiently and ensuring its timely completion. The Tianjin Nangang ethylene imported light hydrocarbon feedstock supporting project consists of two parts: a new terminal construction and a storage area construction. This project supplies raw materials for Tianjin Nangang’s 1.2 million tons per year ethylene plant; it is a fundamental initiative that helps to diversify and lighten the chemical raw materials used in the Tianjin facility, and it holds great significance for improving the operational quality of this facility.
